Quick update

I can see it has been a while since I updated this blog but I did warn you that I might not be able to keep up with everything.

With that said last August I started a podcast called Living from the Bottom to the Top. I also have a YouTube channel by the same name.

The podcast is a weekly glimpse into my life while I am living in my vehicle in the middle of the Mojave Desert in Southern California.

I need to make a better post but this is just so others know what is going on.

The Dreaded Profile

This is one of the few things I actually hate writing. The profile where you talk about yourself and somehow try not to sound so stuck on yourself that even you wouldn't talk to yourself or you come off as a complete airhead.

When I started this blog it was going to be about dating after being out of the game for so long only to have the focus change drastically on July 1 2015.

Some call it being homeless but I call it being home free. Homeless is associated with people that can't/won't support themselves.

I have an online business that for the most part supports my life. I am grateful to those that help me survive living in my van with my fur babies. Along with the gofund me campaign I have but don't post often.

So who am I? According to others I am creative, smoking, bald, brave, smart, and ferret obsessed. I am still coming to understand the how and why they see me this way but as someone just recently pointed out to me I am all of these things because I choose to live in my van.

They are right as always. I've had multiple offers to stay with people but have turned them all down because I need to stand on my own feet and figure out just who I am inside.

I am learning who I am and I am learning more about myself each day. First and for most I am a lesbian who happens to be single and living a very unique life now days.

As I have stated above this blog was suppose to be about dating and while I am not looking for a long term relationship I am not saying it couldn't happen right now it is about finding where I fit into the whole dating scene.

I am an introvert for the most part so if I meet you on the street I might not talk to you unless it is about ferrets or sewing or we have been talking online.

I don't fit into those molds people try to stuff you into. I am not Butch, Femme, Lipstick (what is that anyways), or any of those other titles. If I had to identify with one I suppose you could call me a tweener. I am who I am.

Traveling has its moments but it would be nice to find someone to have a bit of one on one time with once in while with no strings attached.

I do have a bucket list of places I want to go and things to do. Some of which I have already crossed off the list.

If you have some place you think I should check out leave a comment. I am mostly looking for free stuff to do that is also pet friendly.

How long I will stay living in the van is unknown at the moment but at least I have found my comfort zone with it and now need to push those limits further.

I will try to keep this updated as best as I can but no promises.
